Default Should I change my gasket???

I'm about to put my JDM 4-1 header on my R in about a week and was wondering if I need a new exhaust manifold gasket....My brother says I can re-use my old gasket...My car currently has 22,XXX miles on it...Any opinion/advice is appreciated...thank you

I reused mine but I only had 8000 miles. It is a metal gaskets so I think it should should be fine. Mike at IPS (www.ipsracing.com) should have them available if you do need a replacement.

Would it be any help to spray copper spray on a stock metal gasket? Or are those only for the copper gaskets?

In most cases you can reuse the gasket. Just check it out when you take it off. If you need a new gasket, run to the dealer. You should be fine though.
