Car ran out of gas w/half a tank???
Just recently I installed a new in tank fuel pump, along w/ a motor swap and turbo setup. At half tank my car started sputtering and I ran out of gas. I filled it up and it ran fine, when I got to half tank the same thing happened again today. When the fuel gets low I can hear the fuel sloshing around when I go around corners as well. Any input???
did you install the pickup correctly????? ps if your pump tried pumping and there was no gas it might be cooked.
well i mean maybe it didnt reach down past halfway, the pickup is basically the intake part of the pump, I was led to believe it wasnt submerged in gas tank all the way.

It sounds like you attached it upside down, actually. I've installed two or three of them personally and none of them has ever experienced any kind of problem.
If it was upside down, obviously, your tank would stop supplying gas to the pickup much sooner than "empty".

Figured it out. The pickup that comes w/ the wahlboro is too small and sticks up at an odd angle so that it isn't fully submerged. Put the stock pickup on it and it works fine.
