Default Should i get a vafc 2.

I just got my h22 dropped into my 94 accord. I love it. I was wondering if I should get a vafc 2. I have a jdm h22 with pullies, exhaust ,and intake. I wanna lower my vtec engagment and raise the rev limiter. I have a vtec controller now, but it doesnt mess with air/fuel. All it does is lower or raise the vtec engagment point. If i was to use this and lower the engagment point it could make me loose hp bc it doesnt mess with air/fuel is that correct. Please help vtec controller i got now or vafc2. thanks

yes, if you plan on dyno tuning. it will not raise or get rid of rev limiters btw. fuel cut is at 7650 which is high enough unless you have work done rev past that safely.

where do have vtec set at now?

Get it if you really need it. You can alter the engagement point in smaller increments now. That's the main difference between that, and the previous model. Or you can save about $100, and just get the regular V-AFC.

And, oh yeah, there's a VTEC light on the V-AFC II.

i have a 90 accord with an h22a and the vafc-1. i changed my cross point to 4,700. i have a FPR set at 35, 40 WOT. it should work just fine. i hit 180 horse and 153 torque on a dyno with that setup. any lower vtec engaugement and you might hear the cross, but you wont feel it. Ex., i turned mine down to 3 grand to see what would happen. i heard the cross, but the car didnt start pulling until it got to around 4,500-5000 rpm's. hope that helps. SoLo.

i would definitely get the vafc 2, then get the car on a dyno and find your max hp and torque
