I know most of them they have a learning curve (like your stock ecu) but with less restrictions, I think the hondata one you program yourself. I hve seen others where you send them your ecu and they calibrate a new one again with less restrictions, I would say 10-20 hp and the like for tq.

i also heard good things about hondata. i researched the JET Performance one for the 94 Accord and it seemed to have some good gains for hp/trq. it did require sending it away and being programmed for what was currently done to your car and for future stuff. place i talked with said my car would only be down for like 2 days, and it only cost around $300. not sure how this would effect the possiblity of an engine swap.

I would assume since they can program them they should be able to reprogram them.....I have heard about JET too...they ship it out overnight, the only down time is like a day not bad IMO.

Just pull up the carpet (there should be tabs) and the there should be a holder that holds both your ecu and tcu unplug and your money......at least on my 4th gen its like that, should be the same on yours.

you just have to realize there isnt a good chop availble, this is not VW or wrx bro.

anyway, think of it this way, would a chip work on your car and work on mine? and would the same chip work on turbo or bottle fed car? there's no universal application here.

Vafc for the mildy mod. honda
hondata for the turbo or baller
