Ok im trying to get a used greddy turbo for my b18b. I dont wanna slap it on just like that so i want to either rebuild it or buy a new one. Im kinda low on cash so can anyone tell me how much it would cost to rebuild it?

Please tell me how in god's name you spent almost double the price of a new turbo to rebuild an old one?

 

yeah, $900? What was this place, did they upgrade it as well

 

Well if you want a new turbo instead of rebuilding it at some shop you could just get a new turbo for roughly $650.
If I were you I would get a t28 .86a/r or else get the smaller GT28 which is ball-bearing.

the t28 and gt28 has the same turbo flange (t25) as the HKS manifold and the Greddy manifold.

I have an 18G turbo now, I'm not sure if I should rebuild or buy a new one. I guess rebuild should be in order. Sorry to hijack your thread.
