I was going home from the show on sat when out of no where comes a new rsx-s. I look over at him and it seemed that he wanted to race. So like any R driver i put it into gear and away i go. We pulled up to the lights and he started to rev. A **** load of things go through my head, like can i beat this car, is this car as fast as people tell me it is or what. The light turns green and away i go. First gear i had him by atleast a car and by the time i put it into 4th i was 4 cars in front of him. We raced 3 more times and the same conclusion came about everytime. He pulled up beside me and gave me the repect that all integra drivers give each other which really made me happy to own an integra. I'm not saying the new rsx-s is slow and i'm not saying my car is fast but damb was that a good race.

 

i had the same result, my car use to woop on the rsx-s.

... but maybe i wait for rsx type r?...

I still need to get over to the Acura dealer and test drive one of those. I would never think of trading my R for one. I don't know who would.

 

RSX-S = ITR's stepchild.

 

Sport Compact Car had the RSX-S at 15.+ in the 1/4 mile. At the end of the article it said to look out for the STI WRX and the RSX type R.

 

i love all integra's but the new rsx-S just isn't doing it 4 me. I love the interior but the outside of it is just not the same. The reason i love the type R is because of it's amazing wide body look. The type R reminds me of the old M3 (1990 E30), and i love that car as well. But hay all integra's are sweet

 

They ran a 15.6 to be exact. That sucks.

I'm sure it needed to be broken in but the WRX they tested against absolutely raped it performance wise. They made some blurb about the RSX being "better for the track", but the power of the WRX is going to be hard to beat.

 

I raced a wrx about a month ago. It beat me out of the hole but once i put it into 3rd i smokes right by him

 

15.6, thats aweful, then again a car that looks like a Paseo/Cavalier zygote should perform accrodingly.

 

Four cars?

I can't put four cars on my CRX with my Integra and one is at least half a second in the quarter faster than the other.

 

WEll all i have to say is this.

I love my car. For a while i was thinking about selling it. all the damn ricers just start to get on your nerves. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM? anyway. I realize this. My car is amazing. Not to many 4cyl. cars can keep with the so called "muscle cars" of american origin. especially @ 20mpg. and the ITR vtec is heart stopping. there is no other sound that could make me smile as the VTEC could. I havent been driving my car, and just the other day, i decided to take her for a little spin. It had been a good 3 weeks before she had a good ride. ( so long, the battery was dead) I dont think i have ever smiled that much. the roar, ok, maybe whine, of the 16v DOHC VTEC is just exhilarating.

Ok enough.

SO ALL YOU ITR OWNERS, JUST MAKE SURE YOU THINK TWICE ABOUT SELLING YOUR ITR FOR SOME OTHER BRANDED CAR.

I do think that RSX engine has a lot of potential. We'll see.

 

I don't mind RSX-S, but I can't stand it's stance... WAY TOO TALL for a sporty car. They need to come up with some lowering kits quick!

 

4 cars is about a second in the 1/4 mile from what i have seen.

 

How do you drive both the Teg and the CRX at the same time?
