I tried searching and I wasn’t able to locate the answer to my question.

I’m just curios as to how well a USDM DC2 ITR rear seat will fit into my DA?

I’m aware that I might have to modify a few things here or there but will there be any big fitment issues that you guys are aware of?

dont know the answer about size fitment but probably kinda close, i have a 2nd and 3rd gen integra. but the way they mount is quite different the 2nd gen has metal brakets that bolt to the seat and the 3rd just has holes in them that slide over pins. but the metal brakets that bolt the the 2nd gens make a similar set up to the 3rd gen so it may be possible to rig it up. and im referring to the upper folding parts of the rear seat.

 

the 3rd gen seat is too wide.

 

Do you have the rear seat from an ITR? I imagine you could
stick that on ebay and have your g2 seats redone in leather
for the money you sell the ITR seat for.

I don't have the rear seat yet but I'm getting it at a pretty good price so I'll be reselling it if it doesn't fit properly. I was thinking about picking this seat up because the guy I was going to buy JDM rear seats through has been giving me a headache so it's not worth it for me to keep bugging him. So it looks like this might be going on ebay fairly soon. I'll keep you guys posted. Thank you so much for the input guys I really do appreciate the help.

Wrong, the 3rd gen seat is actually TOO NARROW.

You'll have about a 1 or 2" gap on either side of the seat.

Actually, they look about the same but slightly shorter on the DC rear seat (I have both a lower ITR seat and a DA rear seat sitting at the shop.... I'll take pictures). The other noticable difference is the width from front to back, where the DA seat looks longer and the DC seat shorter. Again, I'll have to take side by side pics.

You can see the obvious difference in size.... black ITR DC rear seat and a tan DA rear seat.
