That is a cool post. Man I wish I found that motor for sale like 4 months ago before I decided to start getting stuff to make my h23 vtec.
Does anyone know if the crank in that motor is the same as the h23a1?
Edit: I think 3 grand is a decent price for that exept for that trans.!!!

its a "triptronic" transmission or something .. its Auto and ODB2 ..
If the CR is 10.6:1 its a bit different than putting H23 crank/rods/pistons into the H22 engine to get the low end torque ..
To answer the question, 7200RPM is the stock redline on this vehicle. I saw this a long tima go somewhere but remembered it because I want one of these
My biggest question about this engine, since its from an Accord SiR-T ... does it have a type-r head / IM ? ...
Hmm....

If I ever get around to doing any major mechanical modifications to the car I will definately swap in a manual. This post was more curiosity than anything else but thanks for the info guys.

Ummm A type r b series head WILL NOT fit on an H22 block. WOW
Its an h22 head.

correct me if i am wrong but to my understanding there is no difference between a bare h22a head and a "type s head" . the cams and the mani are what makes it different as far as i know.
edit: and in joels post (link above) he seems to think it just has a regualer h22a head on it.
