Is it really 140 MPH?? My 2003 TLS can hit 155 before governor kicks.

you have to remember, the 04 TL is a completely new car. so chances are there is a governor, but the fuel cutoff does not happen until probably 150, where it will just cut the throttle back...

because the freeway/road is not the only place to drive......

ever heard of a drag strip or track?

or roads that dont have speed limits.

i DOUBT many NEW TL owners take their car to the track, because the vast majority of people that bought them are older (35 and older from what acura told me) The only time I would see one going to the track is someones kid that wants to race it. I'm sure there are older people that modify their TL, but for the most part, they wont. Most will be kept stock, because old people dont modify their cars nearly as much as younger people do.....

+ learn how to talk.....

I agree with you, i'm 28 and i have a 00 TL and the only thing i'm doing is tinting the windows a little and chrome rims. otherwise it'll stay stock. TL's are not race cars and if i want to go fast, I hop on my rocket that can do 160mph.
