im just curious as to how fast h23a non-vtec motors are. and what kind of mods you got on it. peace

 

ive heard peeps gettin around high 14s - 15s..... stock....

 

stock?... hmm kind of low

 

15.6 @86 bone stock

14.6@102 turbo

 

In my sig.. I/E/P and something wrong with my motor but not exactly sure what... but most likely a bad rod. It's a long story so I'll just leave it at that.

never seen that
usually a stock h23 will run mid to high 15's w/a good driver

Traction for you must have been pretty bad. With your regular drag turbo kit, exhaust, and slicks you should run anywhere from 13.9-14.1 sec on the quarter mile.

 

ran a 15.2@93mph with my old h23a1. couldn't hook up too well. bad 60'.

 

not 1/4 but 1/8th mile.

current best NA 10.0xx @ 72 mph w/ 2.45x 60'

old nos setup yeild 9.5xx @ 78mph w/ 2.4xx 60'
