I have done a search and i have come to the conclusion that I am going to get the NGK-bkr7e's for my boosted z6 but i was wondering.... Are these considered one step or two step colder plugs.

They are considered 2 steps colder.

I recommend running the bcpr7es (ngk part #3330)

The insulator on the bcp's is actually shorter then the bkr's. This mean they do not sit down as far down the combustion chamber like the bkr's do. The further you are in the combustion chamber the higher temperatures the spark plug is introduced to which can lead to pre-ignition and/or detonation.

 

2 steps. Stock z6 plug is ZFR5J i believe

I just switched to the bkr7e a few days ago. Much better than stock plugs, no white hot tip. No more pinging with new trubo setup. Drives a little nicer out of boost also.
