Default my new, old greddy header - refurbished

picked this sad looking used SS greddy header up for a garage sell price:
before:

had the seller send it straight to HPC for repairs, stripping, and high temp coating.
2 weeks later
after

repaired B pipe

Just wanted to give a big thumbs up to HPC for doing a terrific job on this thing. Coated the inside and out for $155 and repaired the B pipe for $40.
Total cost was $315 which included the price of the header.
Not bad considering it's now as good if not better than new.

Very nice.

Why is the header so short? That's not the regular length.

No I meant the downpipe.

Somebody welded a larger collector on there...which is good of course. What's the diameter?

it's actually the same diameter, I'm guessing it was just some sort of stock flange from the car it was pulled from. Prolly cut it off and make new flanges.

Looks 10X's better! I really hate how the "stainless" ex. manifolds look after a while. Lifetime warranty

The flange on the bottom pipe piece looks like a donut flange. I thought the Prelude has a "pentagon" house shaped flange at the end of the collector. BTW the finished product looks great!

that's what I'm saying, it looks like it was mounted on a Civic H22 or something..

Wait a tick.......

I also have a Greddy header and it has a "flex" section on the downpipe that connects to the cat.

Is mine different? Kinda confused here............

But related to the topic: Header looks I might have to check out HPC myself fro their services.

Could you tell me where you get new Greddy SS headers for $315 retail?
Reduction in underhood temps and improved exaust flow not to mention nicer appearance does'nt seem like a total waste of time and $ to me.
