cant keep it in 3rd gear?
well ever since i have had my 92 prelude it has grinded going into 3rd. well now it goes in and when i let the clutch out its fine until i hit the gas. then it scratches like crazy and shoots it out of gear?! what does this sound like?
Samething is happening on my 2000 lude. Only grinds when im shifting from redline not from normal driving. How much does a cost to replace the synchros?

i like that one.
i used to use the word rub because i didnt want to say grind
if its shooting out of gear i would say the synchros are shot.
Other than that i would say try some different tranny fluid.
thats how i got rid of my 3rd gear "scratch".

I hate any kind of grinding noise from the tranny -=/. Specially when shifting quick and it doesn't go in ....ouchh.... But yea I'll say the same from what I've been told...Synchros...
A buddy of mine has gears for your tranny, you'd need to have it removed and split though. (good time to buy a Quaife?) Email me for his info. My 93 Prelude does the same thing, GM Synchromesh fluid helped some.

well i new it was the syncro but holy crap i didnt think it could get that bad. i was being lazy i new i should have gotten some syncromesh but now i am paying for it. oh well i was tired of the h23 gears on the highway
rebuilding and adding a quaife would be the ideal, helps to put the power to the ground
good luck
