Default Need info on head swaps

I'm looking at swapping a b16a2 head from a 99si into my 95 GSR motor. How much horsepower will I gain? Will I have to worry about changing the ECU? I have a stock OBDI p72 ECU. Is that anything else that I will need to get? Thanks for the info.

Later.

i dont know the HP gains..
but about the ECU, that depends on if you use the GSR intake manifold or if you use the B16a2 intake.. and would possibly also depend on your distributor that you use... i think that if you were to use the B16a2 head and all your electronics and intake from the GSR you could keep your GSR ECU.

anyone else, if i'm wrong please correct me. thanks.

well, i've heard numerous times that pr3/p73 heads "flow" better than p72 heads. Flow benchs are the only way to really figure that out, but regardless, if you put the pr3 head on a stock b18c1 block you will get about a 9.6:1 compression ratio. Meaning in the end you will probably LOSE hp.
