I have a d16a6 turbo, 2nd gen CRX.
I was lead to believe that the place racing crossmember came in a couple of different flavors, one of which would have the correct mount for a d16.
I have the crossmember in, and it fit fine, but the front motor mount on the crossmember is about 3-4 inches left of the d16 tranny mount, and the crossmember mount is also short of the tranny mount.
Place Racing as been absolutely useless. I could get more information from a lump of dogshit than the guy who answers the phone (owner?) at Place
.
Can anyone help with the following:
1) Are there really more than one version of the PR crossmember - does one that works with the d16a6 front motor mount exist, or are people just lying to me?
2) How much is that front moutn needed? I am re-doing the stock mounts with much stiffer urethane, so can I get away without the front mount?
Any help appreciated!

i dont think theres an option for front mount for d16
im running without it....but only way to do that is to stiffen the other 3
i used window weld and caulked it into the other mounts
you can buy ES Mount Inserts also
3 is pretty solid, no problems car shakes a little at low idle but thats expected
im trying to think of a way to accomadate an engine damper of some sort to fix the problem above

That front mount that Place sends you is if you use the B series mount kit they have. You don't have a B series engine, therefore, the front mount is useless to you. The front and rear mounts are what control the engine rocking back and forth under hard acceleration, so I hope the new mounts you are using are strong (since you're only using one for front/rear movement).
