The 94/95's have different door locks on the interior and they don't have adjustable intermittent wipers, either...

plus the skirting on the exterior is different front and rear and the bumpers have a trim indentation that the 96/97's don't have.

Also on the 97 only they didn't come with a power antenna. (Integrated into the rear window)

94-95 doesnt have that ugly black strip along the side like 96-97's do... unless you get black it looks bad and a pain in the *** to remove

Here are some differences

The tail lights are different between the 94/95's & 96/97's
OBDI (94/95's) v. OBDII (96/97's)
Power antenna (all 94's have it, some 95 do as well, 96/97's don't)
94/95's - no map lights 96/97's have them mounted into the head liner
94/95's don't have the "pass through" in the back seat for ski's or other long items

there are other's but my brain is tanking out on me -

time to get another beer!

I think your refering to the coping / door protectors.

EX's have them factory painted.

94/95 : Shock-absorber type rear trunk hinges - they don't intrude into the trunk compartment when closing the trunk

95+ the power window switches are actually better/more robust.

The 94 B1 motor had a black valve cover. changed to the silver in 95.

also, wasnt the cupholder lid changed in 96? i have seen 2 different lids. one that opens towards the passenger (94-95 ?) and one that opens towards the driver (96-97 ?)

yeah your right....the cupholder DID change in 96. I think the setup is alittle more intuitive in the newer style.

from what i understand, honda stoped coating the valve-covers as a cost-saving measure. I think all honda-cars: civics/integras/accords/etc stopped getting that coating around then ~95
