Whats a better swap, Teg mani with b16a TB, or y8 mani with y8 TB on my d16a6 with y8 head?
Ive posted alot of head question lately, but now i need to know about intake manifolds. Im putting a y8 head on my d16a6, i have 89 teg ecu, and VAFC controller, so i was wondering which would be a better swap, the port matched Teg mani with a b16a TB, or the stock y8 mani and Tb? Well if anyone has experieced either one of these let me know your opinion which would be better as far as power, and difficulty hooking up the plugs. Oh also im keeping my A6 dizzy and injectors, so it stays obd0.
I thought the D16A1 IM didn't bolt up to the SOHC heads. I'd go with the Y8 and B16 T/B as well.
The B16 TB will work with the Y8 mani, the teg mani will not work on your engine, problem solved.
