Default Are 4th and 5th gen Prelude AEM intakes close to interchangeable??

Hey guys, I found someone selling a 5th gen AEM intake for a VERY good price. Is it possible to use on my 4th gen?? Let me know wheat needs to be modified to fit.

Thanks

Im pretty sure the shortrams are, not to sure on the CAI's though. I used to rock a AEM short ram from a 4th gen on my 5th gen.

I personally have a 5th gen AEM CAI on my 4th lude. Fits fine, just like most intakes on the 5th gens, the bracket on the underside of the intake does not bolt up, but I made sure it sat flush in the the hole where the filter is located.

i have a 5th Gen AEM CAI in my 4th Gen. i believe the 4th Gens are 2.75" and 5th Gens are 3". numbers arent positive but the 5ths are larger.

it *fits* but like already stated doesnt bolt up. they way i have mine setup the intake doesnt move. when i opened up the hole with a dremel i used a small rubber hose and slit it to make a guard around the hole. the intake fits nice and snug.

ill take pics tomorrow.

oh i got mine for $80 shipped. i love Ebay

Yep, the 5th gen's are bigger at 3" diameter. I would personally use the 5th gen one on my VTEC, but I'm using one off of an Accord....
