alright well my customer decided to chip his own ecu before bringing it to me,
hes got the hondata S200B with 550CC injectors, i go everything hooked up and ready to go and i start the car
the car idles but its rough and not stock-like smooth
also when you rev the car it struggles to get up to RPM
the check engine light is on and even though i jump the connector i cant get the code.
im considering this is due to chipping. anyone got any ideas ?

try pulling out the circuit board (carefully) from the ecu caseing, and look for any damaged or burned parts. i had a friend do the same thing, with the same symptoms. also, try and get the code with dataloger, i found that the service pin doesn't always work with hondata.
I just got my ECU back from Turbo Tune in NC and my ECU is doing the same thing, I tried to drive it but its like I have a Rev limiter at 3,000 rpms. It runs better with my factory ECU so I'm going to take it to Eurotuner tomorrow and see if he can reburn me a new chip.
if the car does go above 4k then it is not a communication error, it is a problem with the ecu. It is easy to recheck his work by going to hondatas website and looking at the instruction manual.

im giogn to take my chip to DSR tomarorw to have him look at it to see if its blank or not, i had my girlfriends dad rechip it for me, he works for sun microsysytems n ***** with this type of stuff all day, he gave me the ecu back and it looks as good as new, i coudlnt even tell it was messed with. it was CLEAN. so hopfully DSR can help me out,
i got the car back togehrter and put the ecu back in and the cars juST DUMPING fuel, i pulled the plugs and they're wet, so im guessin its a wrong program or sometheins wrong with the ecu.
also the car barely runs, it kinda
putts around.
and cant rev past 3 grand.
