Default help!!

What's up everyone so I've got a boosted em1civic and under normal driving the check engine light comes on and after its on and I try to get on it and it hits 4.500rmps the engine just cuts off!! It doesn't shut off it just completely loses power instantly! Now it's converted to ob1 and is Hondata chipped that's how I bought it... Some help

I'm pretty sure the tune or basemap is setup to not allow boost if the check engine light is on

you're either gonna have to jumper the ecu/turn the pot on the ecu and read the flash pattern or plug up a laptop with the Hondata tuning software and read the fault/dtc code that Hondata is kicking out. until then there's nothing we can do.

although if the car isn't tuned and only has a basemap then I highly suggest that you stop driving and beating on the car until you can pull the code, solve the issue, and get it tuned. if you don't you risk majorly damaging the motor if you haven't done it already.
