okay well my front drivers side wheel would wobble when i drove my car so i pulled the wheel off to take a look. well there is this black ring that goes around your axle nut where the hub is. and i could see it was all beat up. it was really out of shape and didnt allow the wheel to sit flush with the hub causing it to wobble. i took off the hub and took out that piece and it looked like i didnt need it so i took it out, put on the wheel, and everything is perfect now.
i dont know the name of this ring but, im not sure if i need it. a couple guys at the shop i was working on it at said i didnt but i want to make sure.
go to this thread and look at the last picture. it is the black ring inside the wheel.

i think its that inner ring on the outside of the hub (#3)
it has a flat side that that faced towards the inside of the car and then it had a taper that the center of the wheel went over.
