the speaker size in the US is 6 1/2 front and rear. I just changed my 4th gen prelude speakers and my gf's. The center speaker in the rear between the two seats are 6x9.

ill 5th that 6 1/2 front and rear but make sure you dont buy something with a huge magnet because your depth is limited..

go to crutchfield.com and enter your car specs and it will tell you what depths and such plus it will list the speakers that are direct replacements with little to no modification... and if this doesnt sound enough like a commercial there pricing is good, fast shipping and detailed install diagrams

the infiniti reference 652i or whatever they're called from crutchfield are perfect speakers for the door of a prelude, and they are only $99

I wouldnt switch the speakers if I were you. IN my 92 Si, The sotck speakers were 3-way, 180-watt peak pioneers. Does is this sound right for stock. THey sound pretty kickass with my Pioneer dead-unit. Ive heard the infinitys. They got no bass.

Go on cardomain and buy your stereo stuff from them, they have great prices and they usually come in a day early then it's suppose to and they have great customer service.

I have these in the back of my car, they are awesome. I will probably get a set for the door, great midrange.

4th gen speakers in France (and most probably on JDM Ludes) are not metric-sized... I had to buy top-end Kicker K6.2's imported from the US as this was my only option, since the ' 6.5" ' size does not correspond to anything here (or in Japan it seems)...
FYI we have to choose between 15.0cm and 16.5cm. And 4G Lude speakers are 16.0cm...

Well at least i have a kick-*** sound in my Lude..
