Yes, and it depends on which CRX you start with though, as to how much work you'll have to do.
If you use ANY engine newer than 1991 , which the Z6 is, you'll have to consider OBD conversion stuff.

actually you don't have to consider obd conversions. but, i seriously recomend one i have a 90 dx hatch with the multi point conversion wich you'll need if you don't drive a hf or si. if you have a 90-91 crx civic you can use the z6 clutch and flywheel (wich is better because more friction area. i did a obd1 conversion and am running my z6 with a p28 ecu. good luck any other questions im me.

If he wants to run a Z6 in a CRX, how do you figure the above?
He has NO CHOICE. It's an OBD 1 SOHC VTEC. (or maybe OBD2?)
What are the other options?

THAT is an OBD conversion, my friend.!!
Albeit a reverse one, but an OBD conversion, nonetheless. (and counter-productive)
Seeing as the ENGINE is a different OBD than the car is.
And don't forget to add that he has to convert the OBD1 injectors on the engine to OBD0 injectors, as well.

Wells since you put it that you are right it is an obd conversion but he doesnt have to convert the car to obd1. Which he might be asking about. Staying obd0 isnt counter productive I know a few heads with obd0 setup on their Z6 and their dynos are still just as good as obd1 conv. I did conv. to obd1 dough.
And I recommend it if you want Hondata tunning or any kind of good tunning.

that depends on you. you can choose to do or not to do. it all depends on whether or not you want to use obd1 wiring or not. Either way you are going to have to use a p28 ecu, unless you are using some kind of management, so ur probably going to use a jumper harness of some sort. If you use your OBD 0 wiring, ur going to need a OBD 0 dizzy as well. So basically u have a few options.
If you have more questions feel free to PM me or email me @ jdmb16acrx@yahoo.com. I have the d16z6/y8 in my crx, and made a jumper harness myself too!
