There is also a guy on here running 10s with a boosted stock b16 in an EG hatch. I can't remember his screen name though. It was a very long thread if anyone goes looking for it.

<2200lbs and 390-400whp and you can go 10's with a very good driver, there are quite a few people making that power on stock blocks

i guess your right, you cant go fast if your worrying about blowing up. I dont care if your motor is stock or built if your throwing alot of boost at it bad things can happen. And if you worrying about breaking your in the wrong sport. I dont have an extra 5grand in my acount to build a stong motor, so call it what you want but one thing you cant call it is slow.

lol....cant wait til my next motor is done being built, im gonna break it in on 25psi then tip the can of meth, and turn it up to 55psi along with 3 stages of nos but since its "fully built and tuned" i wont have to worry to much.

Do people build motors to be fast or so they can say "fully built"?

good luck with your motor

dude you are a complete moron, sorry didn't know people were allowed to be happy and anxious to build motors. Yes I build motors to be fast but I mainly do it for the hobby/sport. Get a life and chill out.

My point was that big numbers are easy to type,
And i thought this thread was about b16 time slips, not b16 hype.

theres hardly any lag at all. that car is ****** scary to ride in. its spooled instantly, and it throws you in the seat extremely hard.

Really... cause a SC61 on a B16A spools around 5500 as far as I have read on the forum. I have a B16A that I will bore to 83mm, running 9:1, and am wondering whether to go with the SC61 or SC63...
