wtf. every time when i step on the gas and bring the rpms up to 6000+ there is a drastic loss in power at 5500rpm. i can feel my car just punk out. i have cai, muffler, fpr, crank pulley. and 9.3mm plug wires. i know my tq ends at 5400. could this be it?? by the way if u didnt know i have a hx. 97.

 

rev limiter? I'm no mechanic, it's just a guess.

 

Try putting in a known good FPR even if its stock. I had a B&M FPR that went bad it had the same simptoms I could still hear the vtec but it had no power. Good luck.

 

check your plugs and wires

 

im not exactly sure but doesnt the hx have a low rev limit? try putting in a dx ecu of the same year
