Default D15B vs. D16Z6 engine

I know this sounds like a really stupid question but I'm confused because I've had two people tell me two different things.

Between a D15B and a D16Z6 (both v-tech), which has more horsepower and better compression ratio? I want to go turbo. What are the ups and downs about both engines?

Also, how much can you safely boost on that engine?

The car is a 1993 Honda Civic EX.

d15b has a 1.62 r/s ratio and beefier rods than the us 1.5l vtec (vx) has alot more top end, and has incredible gas mileage.

if your going to boost a d15b you might want to look at stronger rods or no more then 5- 6 pounds of boost. I'm going to start a similar build. this is just what i have heard.
