How to change a thermostat?
make sure you have the right tools or else you'll strip the nut. i am speaking from experience and i have yet to get that damn thermostat out because the nut is stripped.
Its easier to get to if you remove the starter.

I just replaced mine. I used honda bond to seal it. Its two bolts to remove. The one in the rear takes some manuevering to get to.

Its very easy... follow the lower radiator hose all the back behind the block. Where the radiator hose ends that is where you thermostat is. Remove the two bolts and possibly the ground wire for the thremo switch. Remove old thermostat and place new one in its place (remember to use new O-ring). Place cover over thermostat and put the two bolts back in place (don't forget the ground wire). Refill you coolant and your done.
