Performance wise no, the WS will sound a bit deeper and the muffler/tip will look nicer.

It's an exhaust, and it's better than stock...and it looks nice. That's as far as the positives will go...
Negatives:
It's not a very efficient design. It's almost no better than stock. Like Misfit said, an exhaust like the RM-01A will outflow it (it's just like an N1) and offer the same noise output thanks to the resonated design.
Apex'i materials are...cheap (besides the SS canister). The picture below is that of my old Apex'i WS piping (ceramic coated steel) next to that of the Fujitsubo RM-01A (full polished SS). Even after months of use the RM-01A looks just like it does in the picture.

Do a bit more research, don't just take it from me.

here are some sound bites. these are all tested on a stock jdm dc5 type r. on this test i like the powergetter sound... let everyone know if these are what yours sounds like.. i need an exhaust too.. thanks hope this helps narrow it done...
