CEL 20 (Electrical Load) & CEL 41 after Dyno
I got my a/f tuned on the dyno yesterday and now I'm throwing CEL 20 and 41. I just converted from obd2 to obd1 with a p28 ecu. The tuner did have a wideband o2 on the car so the stock o2 was removed during the tuning.
I checked the o2 sensor connectors today and it's still conncted and looks good. Didn't take it off the header but the connector looks fine.
Checked the alternator fuse and it's fine.
Read in another post:
The 12v switched source to the O2 sensor(s) is on the same circuit as the ELD. There is a short somewhere in this circuit. Find the short and repair it. This will be lots of fun to do but you will have to do it in order to solve your problem.
Does it sound like the problem is with the O2 sensor or the wires?
Can anyone give me some ideas to go on?
My tuner said the car is tuned so well it will run without the o2. It starts fine, no problems.. idle is a little bit rough .. can feel it rough .. and I think it's because of the CEL 41.
Reset the ecu .. both code comes right back.

do integras and civics have different o2 sensors?
could this have anyting to do with the p28 not reading my integra obd2 o2 sensor? does that make sense? Are the o2 sensors different in obd2 integras? Do I need a different o2 sensor?

i tried connecting the secondary o2 to the primary and vice versa. Still got both codes ...
when my tuner looked at the socketing job on the p28, he had said it's not that great. He said "whoever solderd this skimped on the solder like it's expensive or something" The p28 I purchased was presocketed and was supposedly done at a hondata dealer.
Is it possible that a bad soldering job is causing the cel20 and 41?
Just seems wierd.. my perfectly good o2 was fine before the tuning. Now it's throwing a code. I swap my secondary o2 and it's still throwing a code?
What's the chance that both o2's are bad when they were fine before tuning?
I reset the ecu after swapping and still nothing. Anyone have any ideas?

Update..
I think I finally isolated the problem.
I tried my p28 in my buddies 95 gsr and he threw code 20 and 41.
The p28 is custom chipped using Techtom software. Strange thing is when my tuner plugs his p28 into my car, I get code 19 (Auto Tranny ????) and 20 (ELD).
Anyone know why my integra might be throwing false codes with a p28?
My stock ecu throws no codes, so I know my car is working 100%. Car also drives and performs perfectly. I just want to get rid of the CEL codes.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

could be the BIN on the chip, does your p28 have a switch to jump from the chip back to the stock bin? If so swap it. Does your friend have a stock p28? It might be wiring somewhere if your getting all these screw codes. I would check it with a virgin p28 first.

well my tuner has been using his p28 for years without problems. He tried his p28 with the chip, also his p28 jumpered (so that it's running the stock program) and it throws both the 19 & 20. We're out of ideas..
My ecu is USDM and his ecu is Canadian, I dunno if that makes much of a difference because we're both still throwing codes.
Basically running a stock p28 is giving my car problems. USDM, CDM, chipped, unchipped.. I'm getting the same result.
The original obd2a p72 works without a hitch.
I'm getting so fed up with this light that I want to just pull the bulb and call it a day.. but I really want to solve this problem.
