Default *** Lower or Faster? *****

Was sup guys

Caught in a delima should I spend the money that I have saved up for my engine swap now and lower the car or should I just keep saving for the engine??

My car has the 4speed with the 1.5 engine its the most basest HB. Would lowering the car have make a difference with the engine I have now with out the power of a larger engine?

Is it worth the money lowering it now or just waiting until I drop the new engine in?

Do the swap first. You will enjoy that far better

I don't drive fast so I always prefer good handling over power. Once I get the handling down then I move to power.

100% suspension....That should always be the first place you start.

i agree totally
because when you get your swap your suspension will be more suited for going fast

if i were you i would get all of the suspension done and all of the braking upgrades done before engine.
if i had a chance to do it all over again i would do the suspension and braking before anything

Just save enough to do it all at once, thats what i did. i had the same base model hatch as you 70hp 83 torque 4spd tranny. You will go from slow shitty handling pos to a quick , fast, great handling car all at once. It will blow you away

I suggest suspenion unless your motor is not functioning.
I'd hate to drive a piggish ef.

Depends on what your doing with it. You Auto-x / Road Race cause if your slow it's always good to have handling cause it will make you faster in the corners.

I would say if you were going to build your suspension for racing like a coilover system and stuff do that and use that motor if you were going to race it.

Get that motor out of there. I have the same car as you and the first thing I did was throw in the b16.

Who cares if you put a suspension, you still only have 70 HP.

Throw in the motor, if you buy a complete swap it will come with bigger rotors, then when the motor is in throw in the suspension.

do suspension! if you autocross you have a advantage over a EF with a swap. It matters what you are doing, if its a street car no doubt swap the motor!
