There are no Tein RE's for a Prelude.

easier to change dampening rates, i hate having to run around my car for adjustments. i love being lazy

i guess for the daily driver, the SS might make more sense. running around with 10k/8k spring rates might be a problem. i was reminded of that today as i drove around downtown san diego and realized that not every city in the world has nicely paved roads like LA does. i swear everytime i go down to SD i have a new rattle, knock, or weird jiggling sound, and i imagine it'd be worse with a stiffer suspension.
but yeah, if it was performance time, the flex (or actually the JIC or Buddy Clubs) would be preferable to the SS. Still i think the SS's can hold their own at an auto-x, for the casual auto-x'er.

If your want to be adjusting your spring rate for track use, then the type FLEX would be much better, especially with the in cockpit EDFC. I myself am going with the SS because I will be daily driving my lude when it gets up and running. I have seen the SS on Ebay for as low as $870 one time. TEIN also offers the SS with pillowball mounts for an additional fee.

we're lucky we're not back east where the roads are always shitty. i messed up my hatchback hitting many a hidden pothole, damn snow.
