I have my axel and hub taken off the car. So I take off the axle/hub nut and try to pull the axel out of the hub it wont budge, i tried a rubber mallot and hit it a couple times to make it come lose doesnt work.

any idea's?

 

just keep beating it, it will come.. try using a sledge hammer... a rubber mallot doesnt have enough weight

 

use lotsa penetrating oil. a puller would be best

 

use some PB blaster and a big hammer. dont mess the end of the axle up too bad in case you are reusing it and need to thread the nut back on it.

 

again another use of a mini sledge a great tool.
