I'm recruiting wingless R's =)
Good looing cars. Makes me think of going wingless. Also, am I mistaken or did I read somewhere you were using tein S-techs? Just curious cause I was thinking of a set myself.

I think what is actually happening is that we are seeing some "preemie" Type Rs. It is known that the wing is one of the last parts of the car to develop during gestation - perhaps these unfortunate Rs were born premature and should be returned to an incubator to complete their development cycle.

Poor R's with their wings clipped.
I've heard that wingless R's have at least 20 WHP less than R's with their wings...

Well, its certainly a downgrade. I never get why people mess with a perfectly well designed car. That wing was wind tunnel tested and does provide a function when used for what the car was designed.

To be re-installed before the 12th of this month.
Driving school at V.I.R. = 4th gear in the rev. limiter at 2 locations on the track. I think the downforce will be needed then. Not while driving around town, when rear-view is needed.

never mess up with a stock ITR unless you know for sure you have an improvement in behavior/performance.

I like the white itr with the powder coated rims. Looks so nice. I am also a fan of the wing. Its one of the few cars that doesn't look like a shopping cart with it on.
no wing
i have since abandoned the "no wing" club. i installed the OEM wing once again and put the factory wheels back on. no sense to take pics. nothing special. imagine a stock 98 itr w/ carbon fiber hood, lowered like .5"

They're not powdercoated, just wheels of a 2000 ITR

Why is everyone a grammer teacher.
I like sam adams, some people like Beast, its all about opinion. I personally like both wingless and not. I took mine off for a change of scenery so to speak.
