My friend and I just installed some 4-1 ceramic headers on my gsr last night. I couldnt believe the difference I felt. It pulls hard in high 2nd and 3rd. My vtec got alot louder also. All I have is intake and a header with stock exhaust. With this header you here alot of motor not exhasut noise. My car used to lack top end but it feels alot stronger now.

I have the DC SS 4-2-1, only got it cuz I traded something for it. Haven't dyno'd with it yet. It will have to go when I get going on my future NA plans, in favor of a certain JDM 4-1 piece. I don't feel faster with it, but it sure is lighter than the stock header.

Installing it is easy if you take the time and do it right. You will need to remove your fans, splash guard and and clutch cable line. But mine is 1 piece. So it wasnt a 10 minute job.

I didnt use a lift so it was hard to work with the car on a jack. Plus it is 1 piece.

The flanges on DC headers are mild steel and will rust, if I'm not mistaken.

I think the newer headers are stainless flanges, but the older ones are mild steel. Mine is sorta rusted at the flanges.

I got the DC 4-1 ceramic....they havent lost their coating at all, but I am waiting to get enough flow for the JDM 4-1. I had to remove my fans and radiator, but that is what happens when your frame is a little pushed back..

I've got a DC 4-1 SS and have been very happy with it for the price. It pulled noticeable harder above 6k, with a little more noise. The pipes are in good shape after 8 months of being on the car. No rust to report. Just some of the typically discoloration you get with SS.

Actually, I might be selling mine (DC JDM 4-1 CC) 1k miles on it. I have been very happy with the performance out of the DC. Everyone keeps saying the rust but I have yet to see one rusted. It's very easy to install.
