steering coulum problem
when it gets too cold my steering colum locks... it was -15 degrees in new york yesterday and just completely uncomfortable... what can i do to prevent this from happening every time it gets cold...
also want to buy civic si coupe 96 and up...

so your steering wheel siezes up even if the key is in and you try to move it from left to right? If so, you may have some ice build up on the shaft where their is a coupling by the ac compressor and altenator. Check that joint for lube and that a black plastic rubberish cover is on it. If that checks out fine, be sure the rest of the joints on your steering column are lubed up with grease. There should be 2 couplings past the firewall inside the car.
