Default Expo 4: Do Weekends matter?

I would like to see a poll of the people who would attend an east coast event. I need to know how many people a weekday event would affect your attendance? VIR and MidOhio are on Thursday and Friday instead of a Saturday Sunday event.

I dont think it matters. If its on a weekend, you still gotta take that Thur/Fri to drive there and get ready, then take off mon/tues to drive home. If the event is on a Thur/Fri, you will still have to take off Tues/Wed to drive there, Thur/Fri for the event, and drive home on the weekend. So either way you are taking off the same amount of days.

Ill be there anytime, it doesnt matter for me. Once again, im not a driver nor ITR owner, so my vote doesnt count. I will be a Co-Pilot for Fat Bradstard. Not sure if he registered yet though.

We had plans for AZ, and we will have plans for anywhere else it is moved to...

Stunna and Bradstard= Rollaz

Weekend for a return home trip would be great as well. Very well setup if you ask me. Less stress

That's only true if you are at least a two-day drive away from the Expo.

For those who are a one-day drive away, it means taking off two weekdays vs three.

For those who are a half-day drive away or less, it may even mean taking off zero weekdays vs two.

I personally have a few extra vacation days this year left over from 03' so it really wouldn't matter to me if I had to burn a couple getting to expo and back!

If the car is running good, I'm there no matter if it's a weekday or weekend

I was just using that as an example, and in my case specifically, it wouldnt matter.

Weekend is certainly best, but I think it certainly helps if it's near the weekend, Thursday/Friday, regardless.

The less time I have to take off work, the more likely I would be able to attend.

The only West Coast option is a weekend. You gonna drive out this time Ed?
