Ok this was my process to figure this all out, tell me if i'm wrong.
The DA (90-93) rear sway bars are compatible with the CRX. With the Si there really is no fitment issues just bolt it up. I think the stock Si bar is a 14mm and the sedan DA is like 15.7mm.
Now I read on http://www.g2ic.com (a DA site) that it IS possible to mount an ITR bar on thier cars. The endlinks almost fit perfectly. There was a preferance to put the ITR end links on, but because of backorder most who did the swap did not use the ITR links.
In addition to the endlinks the ITR bar uses D brackets. Which connect to about where an aftermarket lower tie bar would mount up. I've read that it is only necessary to drill two holes to accomodate the ITR Dbrackets. (I think this is similar to my experiance installing an ITR w/ ITR dbrackets on my brothers 96 GSR.) In addition to D brackets the only thing thats suggested to be used is a "BSQ" reinforcement kit. My brother has on and its a spacer and bracket that attatch to lower tie rod/Dbracket mounting point.
Anyway, would it be safe to say then that an ITR bar would fit on an 89 Si without any huge issues. It would appear so, with minor drilling.
Cliff notes:
DA bar = EF bar
ITR bar (somewhat) = DA bar
ITR bar (somewhat) = EF bar
