Default 92-00 Neuspeed Race springs fit CRX?

I'm about to buy a set of someone that says there for a 92-00 civic, but he said they'll fit my 88si. My question is will they fit, and will the drop be affected because of the weight?

Yes, the springs will fit but the drop may be slightly different than what it was on the 92-00.

I put springs off of a 96-00 civic on my car and it didn't change the way it sits. it rides stiffer though. the CRX is much lighter then the 92-00 civics I wouldn't expect a big drop, if any.

My buddy has 92-00 civic Neuspeed race springs on his 90' Si. I noticed that it dropped the rear nicely and kept the front up a little bit but not to much. I had them on my 92' integra and it dropped it so far in the rear I had to build a smaller exhaust just to drive it. But, when I got the Eibach Sportlines and the KYBs I sold the springs to him because I was told from my parts guy that 88-00 civics and 90-00 Integras have the same suspension set-ups and are about identical. I also know its recommended to get aftermarket shocks for the race springs because they will blow your O.E. shocks out in about 5000 miles. Neuspeed also designs their springs for autocrossing which explains the lower drop in the rear because its better to have the rear stiffer than the front. The springs (only) really were not as effective on the CRX Si as the were on my Integra, but they made a nice difference in the handling. The Integra flung through corners with the springs, I was finding myself going up clay pike run (also known as snake hill) at about 90 to 95 mph through every corner on that hill. I really don't have that kind of stiffness with the Eibachs, but I sacrificed a stiff racing set-up for a sports set-up with a nice ride that works just about as good. I have to say though, if its for a CRX, look for aftermarket shocks because your O.E.M. shock are going to be shot quick! other than that, go for it.
