Default Heat gun to urethane...

my side skirts were a little bent outta shape after i brought it to the paint shop.. and to bring it back to them would be a real hassle since im at college.. plus a full time job.. i was wondering if i would be able to use the heat gun to bend the skirts back into shape.. without messing up the paint.. the inside of the skirts are not painted (meaning from underneath the car) and that is where i would plan on doing the heating.. would this affect the paint? its a great paint job.. and would hate to mess it up.. all opinions are welcome.. thanx

How about a hair dryer? That will probably work.

one time my friend got hit in the front. we used a hair dryer and a rubber hammer to get it back into shape.

so yeah it should work.

i just used the heat gun on my side skirt.

make sure you have water or something
what i did was heat it up and then was bending it how i wanted it and i sprayed it with cold water

the first time i was trying i didnt have the water and it just bent back up
so i got it hot, then was bending it to how i wanted it, and sprayed it down and now its stuck there.
