I bought my hondata s200b used from someone on here and it didn't have the 3-step option, so I purchased it through wiredspeed.com. I heard that you need a code from hondata, and when I orded the 3-step they asked me my serial number and so I thought I'd get a code. The only thing I see in the box is a sticker with a long number on it with 2 letters to start. Is this the code? Its 9 numbers long with 2 letters, so 11 characters total. I also don't have datalogging, so can I don't really know how I can punch in the code? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I didnt know you needed a code. I got my hondata s200 without the 3 step also, later on I will get it. The serial number should be on the front of the box

 

I purchased my S200 with all the options known to man, including a wideband and all, but for some reason my 3 step isnt enabled and im not taking it out of my car and not having my Hondata for 2-3 days (with overnighting).

I called Hondata and they told me send it back, instead of just giving me the code.. dont understand it actually.

 

Damn, I can't even go to the upgrade part of the hondalogger software to upgrade to my 3-step? I guess I'll be calling hondata. All I know is that when I try to set it, it doesn't do anything, so I don't know whats going on. Anyways, thanks for you guys' help. I'll keep you posted on what happens. Thanks again.
