I purchased a unit from Evans a.k.a. boosted_hybrid. He told me all new units come with datalogging. The one i have does not. I called hondata nd they tell me i know have to buy it. After $1200 and now i have to pay for more that comes free??? did i miss something??? hell i could have ad aem buy now with all the bells and whistles. Anyone have this code they are talking about, because after all this im NOT paying for a simple option. What a rip off!!!!!

I mean it came with the cables and software in the box????

I would agree with you...newer boxes should come with datalogging. Perhaps it was an older S200. However, yes we do have the code but you have to buy it too....our code will not work for yours and no you can't download it off Kazaa or something like that. Hondata keeps a tight leash on their software.

i highly doubt jeff would intentionally put you in this position. if he purchased it from hondata this year it absolutely should have dl included. email hondata with the serial number and ask when they originally sold it. they don't want their dealers getting a bad rap undeservedly.

asking on a public forum for the means to steal that option will not help your cause with them though.

I may have worded that incorrectly for i know jeff did not mean any harm in this case.

And I am not asking to steal something. Im asking to unlock something that is offered for free.

As an aside, Hondata had a cutoff date for their units to include the free features. If your unit was produced before the cutoff then Hondata will not give you a free code.
You will need to talk to your vendor for help. We ended up getting hit on a few units and had to eat the datalogging cost since Hondata announced they would include it for free and we still had "old" units left on the shelf that were not covered. Good luck.
