Default What type of springs

I have a 1993 Honda Civic DX, I do not want a massive drop since it is already fairly low stock. I am looking for .5 to 1 inch drop; I also do want it to ride "bouncy" or rough, I want a fairly smooth ride just slightly stiffer than stock. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I also need a passenger side mirror since it did not come with one. Any suggestions?

It also needs a tachometer. Will any stock honda tach work? I do not want an aftermarket huge one. I want a nice clean stock Honda one

a 1.3 isnt bad at all, people you see scraping on **** all the time are dropped like 2 or more inches, springs ride very nice compared to dampeners, so itll be a little stiff, but not too bouncy. as for companies, check out tanabe's new line up, they have a wide variety of drops and ride quality. lastly, for the mirror situation check out some replica spoons or if you want something stock the junkyard.

i got skunk2 race lowering springs 2.5" drop in the front and 2.25" in the rear. i never scrap unless i got more than 2 people in the back.

1- for your lowering, i would suggest coilovers. so that way you can adjust the amount you'd like it to be lowered. i think the rates are from 0 (stock) up to 4" depending on the brand but most likely 3"
2- why not just get another cluster if you want a stock honda tach, get an si or a jdm one if you wanna spend the $
3- http://www.jdmshit.com has good mirrors i've heard and Newman is a very helpful guy! if your not looking to spend that much check out eBay. i saw a set of fake spoon style c/f look ones for 39.99 i think! + shipping

good luck

I like this guy, yes if I were you I would look into Tanabe Springs those are the only springs I use and I love the ride and handling and they have some springs that don't lower that much. The only thing I will say is I would upgrade to shocks at the same time, I always do and I use the good old cheap KYB AGX's. That combination is a very good handling and riding car and you can make it ride pretty stiff for the money.
