use honda mtf or 10w3, 5w30 up to u.... when u are underneath the tranny lookin it at, there is a bolt that has a 3/8 indention in it, that is the drain bolt, stick your racthet it in there break it loose....
to fill it i cheat and take out the Vss sensor and get a long funnel and fill it through the vss hole so i don have to pump it for the next 20 mins.... or u can use a pump and pump about 2.5 qts in it through another bolt right above the drain plug.... if that doesnt help do a search

a simple search found this: https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=2 there's a nice pic on page 2
don't use motor oil, get honda mtf, redline mtl, or gm syncromesh. also, fill it through the vss on top instead of the fill bolt - it's much easier.
next time, search before you make a thread

their should be a drain plug at the bottom of the tranny, unscrew it and drain your fluid, on top their should be a hole to fill it back up with. if not i just pull the VSS sensor and fill it in that hole. very easy because its a big hole to put a funnel in.
don;t use engine oil. on domestics yes its fine. on imports use oem.
get honda tranny fluid or redline tranny fluid.
htf works great, and if u have LSD just get a cheap LSD additive from autozone and add till your lsd chatter goes away.
their should be a bolt cose to the axle unscrew it and when the fluid is level with the hole. your tranny is filled. hope this helps.

thank you!why will people spend all this money on modding their car,but won't spend $70(or even DL it for free) on a manual that tells them how to do ANYTHING to their car?!at least half the questions asked on this forum could easily be answered by looking in an shop manual.it's the same as the people who cry because their $30k civic got stolen, but they didn't even have an alarm.
i think it's time to adopt a new smiley on here: :rtfm:

get the helms from my sig and refill the transmission oil by taking out the vss. much easier than doing it from the side... there is a write up on here somewhere.
