O.K., turbo timer w/factory 99civic si keyless/alarm???!!!!
I have been searching all over the net looking for some help getting the keyless entry to lock the doors while engine is turbo timing down. I can't find anything anywhere. It's the factory keyless. Any help will be appreciated. It's a 99 si.
thanks.
thanks.
I've looked all over the net. I can't believe no one has a how to. If I find it, I'm gonna host a how to page for this topic.
i read through it, it was done on a turbo type r with alpine aftermarket alarm, factory keyless is VERY different, i still dont believe it will work, and that info is not detailed enough, but thanks

I have a 99 Si myself.
I just usually lock my door with the key's and it'll lock both doors regardless.
Not really that big of a deal. The only time your gonna have to worry about it is if you have a car alarm.

I thought 99 Si's had alarms????
Anyway, check this site out, this guy said he got it to work on 95 integtra with factory alarm.
I didn't read through that well but I did see that it works for other honda's too.

yeah thats the page i used to help me install my timer, hes saying that the factory alarm can function with the addition of the timer, BUT it will not self lock after the timing is over, thats where im getting at, and i still doubt the possibility..
Guys, I give up. That "import nut" website doesn't explain how he made it work with the alarm. He only says that he did make it work. He doesn't state if it is aftermarket alarm of OEM. I called a very reputable audio store and they didn't know. They told me they have all had problems locating the unit that actually controls the OEM alarm functions. They thought it was in the factory radio - wrong! They think some function may be embedded in the ecu and may not be able to be bypassed.
Thanks anyway.
Thanks anyway.
