Default Accord 02 stock rotor life

on average the front OEM rotors of a mildly driven `02 Accord will last how long?
is it common to go through two sets of front pads to one set of rotors?

Brake pad & rotor life depends so much on how & where you drive, that's it's kinda useless to compare with other people. Especially in different parts of the country where traffic, mountains, temperatures, road-salt, everything else is different.

he is saying, in less than 2 years (it's an 02) on a mildly driven accord (his words), he is already done with his first set of rotors and been thru two sets of pads on that one finished set of rotors...that is not normal man.

It's my girlfriends car, so I'm trying to feel for the situation.
She told me that her dealer told her a few months back she will need brakes soon, they quoted $240 for the front brake work at 30K mles.
I am guessing that is pads, rotors and labor.

Starting two days ago the wear sensors just started making noise, looking through the wheel at the disc the rotors look thick, but I have the specs from Alldata and will check disc thickness.

She bought the car with 15K miles on the odometer, and I was wondering if it was common to get 60K or 90K from Honda rotors, or if rotors on these cars are usually changed at brake pad changes.

Looks to me she only needs pads, and that she is O.K. with the original rotors.

Thanks for the responses, and any more theer may be.

60-90k is very common for honda rotors...

If thickness is within spec, then cut them and reuse them like normal.

yep

the thing is..you change the pad and you turn the rotor, so it would wear evenly, if you keep up with that, the rotor should last about 75K before it's too thin and need to be replace.

that's not included autocross every month, socal traffic, brembo slotted rotor, turbo chargered honda, warpped rotor
