Quick question about 5th gen. back seats
I recently sold my flawless '94 Si w/40k original miles (regrettably) because i wasn't able to afford it at the time. I absolutely loved everything about the car except for the pretty much non-functional back seats and am considering another. (probably a 5G.) My question is: Are the 5th gens any roomier back there? I remember it being next to impossible to carry more that two people in my 4th gen.
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!
Never had a 4th gen but I was able to ride in the backseat of my 5th gen ok and I am 5'10. Wouldnt recommend any long road trips but for 15 min sessions to the mall, store, etc. its not that bad.
well go have a look at the car at least...
i've been in and out of both (well for about 10 seconds) but the 5G seems roomier...
keep in mind you might have more front leg room, so you might not need to put the front seats as far back. i know the 4G's have a really tight interior...

They added leg room after they realised itonly accomodated the average Jap, afterall the car was designed in Japan.
HEY!!! just realised, those concept drawings of the Prelude.... they were left hand drive!, but the lude was deisgned in and built first in Japan. Hmmmn So where did the concept pics come from???

That would be Japanese. The word Jap, is very offensive

hmm...no...actually they have the rear seats in there due to insurance...if it was a 2 seater the 5th gen or 4th gen prelude's insurance would be a lot higher than if it wasn't considered a 2 seater. if being "japanese " was the case...why arent all honda's designed not to have a lot of room in the back?

yeah the rear seats are basically pointless in my bb6, im a tall guy so i basically have my driver seat back all the way.. so nobody can sit behind me, and i have a rear harness bar also so its hard for people to get back there. i just took my seats out and took out the sound deadening material to make it look cleaner
