With so many aftermarket suspension components available today why go with prelude suspension?

He's probably getting a good deal on it or something.

But anyways... It ain't gonna happen. All suspension parts between the 4th and 5th gen Accords are interchangeable, but the 4th gen prelude stuff doesn't work.

aren't the springs interchangeble? A guy with a prelude wants to buy my accord springs, I thought that they would work for him

i just parted out a 94 lude. the front seemed to be very similar to my accord wagon, but i cant see the rear sus. working. the trailing arms much longer, and the sway-bar mounts are diffrent, along with the the upper and lower control arms. i also think you would have some major issues with the sway-bars, making too good of friends with the gas tank and/or spare tire well. just my two cents.

i could see the springs being interchangable, as long as the rates are kosher.

this is the only thing........

prelude suspension will put way to much castor into the car to be reliable among other problems

so the answer to this whole thread is looking to be NO. of course "any-thing" can be done, but why?

answer is no. people have tried, even w/ all the arms, some holes just dont line up (believe specifically the upper A-arms wont fit at all).

you can however swap on the CL hub in place of the accord one to get those nifty rotor-over-hub design instead of the POS hub-over-rotor 4th/5th gen accords. had.

yep! have to agree with typesh.

but i have to give love to the 4th gen accord wagons! i know, i know big fat pa-dunk-a-dunks! i know! but i love an old car with good brakes! and we even get 10mm bolts on the rotors, instead of those peice of **** +'s. no stripped +'s here!!

but to recap what has already been said. there are plenty of upgrades for the cb. and i have a whole lude sus. sittin right in front of me! just not worth all the head-aches's for the end result of the swap!

try the front brakes off of the vtec lude, or 91-97 cbwagons, or cl's, but the back is just a nightmare waiting to happen. IMO.
