CEL code #1456. Please help! (searched)
Once the fuel cap is eliminated as a possible cause, there are two likely scenarios:
Either you have a leak in the neighborhood of your fuel tank, or some moisture got in the two-way valve/solenoid assembly. Unless you have a bunch of miles on the car, it may still be under warranty.

It should be under major component? If expire for the warranty, how much will that cost for the valve solenoid assembly?

did you replace it with a factory cap from acura. the 3 rules to avoid a 1456 code is to not over fill. when it clicks off quit pumping. dont round to the nearest dollar. this can cause an over flow and contaminate the orvr valve. second is not to pump with the key on make sure the ignition switch is on the 0- lock posistion. then is the obvious tighten the gas cap at leat 3 clicks. but b19 coupe is right a 1456 will indicate a problem in the rear of the evap system near the tank and not towards the front of the car. if the gas cap is aftermarket then that is your problem. if it is under warranty take it to the dealer.

For code 1456, it should be front solenoid or the rear one on our ITR?
Some ppl said that is in the front and some said is at the back, which one is correct? please confirm ! THanks!
there are 3 solenoids
-purge, in the engine bay
-vent shut valve in the engine bay
-by-pass and 2 way valve which is most likely the problem, upper left side of the gas tank, the gas tank has to be lowered a little to gain access.
