hey, i just wanna compare the RSX type S to the celica GTS, i know people who have run 14.49 with GTS, and only removes the exhaust from the cat back, what have stock Type S people run?

 

14.871 @ 96 with nothing removed

 

14.517@94 bone stock

GTS has 180 horses i believe. correct me if i'm wrong. rsx type s has 200.

 

no way in hell u did 14.5 unless maybe if u power shifted or something.

14.8 with just tires for me

 

14.5 is definitely the fastest stock time i've heard, pretty hard to believe

I have heard of a 14.3 stock... it was someone on here, but I am not sure if I would believe it or not..? I may be wrong... but aren't low 14's normal times for RSX-S with I/H/E? Or is it less?

Power shifting is the gayest thing in the world. Hurts you when trying to go fast, you wanna spend the least amount of time between shifts.

 

I've hit a 12.8 1000'. Most RSX-S run high 14's-low 15's though.

 

Ignore his 14.5. Look how terrible his trap speed is. If you were to launch as hard as he did, you would have pulled off the same time along with the same trap speed.

 

never ran stock.... 14.9@92 with a SRI in some hot *** weather!!!

 

I beleive the 14.5 claim my friend has a type-s too and he ran a 14.61 stock can you say factory freak

umm, what? unless the rsx's are in some way different than ef's your completely wrong. maybe you don't know what powershifting is? i dropped 3.5 TENTHS in the quarter by powershifting in my old crx. in my new hatch, i haven't taken it to the track yet but she's definately faster when powershifted. maybe i'm missing something tho.

 

14.5 @ 94 Looks more like a RWD car's track time. They can get out of the hole much better than FWD can. I had an 02 at the track and went 15.02 3 times. That was dumping the clutch from about 5 grand and never coming off the gas the rest of the run.

I think my 04 is faster... we'll see as soon as some tracks open up around here

 

ps... my trap times were also 94... he musta been being shot out of a catapult from the starting line
