92 4WS .. HELP ME
ok. speeda500 u said u had an extra h22.. i need details. what r the specs on the Euro engine? how much is that.
If i change my ecu... do u lose my 4WS
!? or do i gain ATTS
? how does that work...
If i choose to keep my h23 what potential does it have?
ALSO wheres a good place to mount a tach. theres no room anywhere. the speakers in the dash take up way too much room.
thanks
i hate this " u can only send 5" crap. i have lots to ask

you should spend your time searching

if you use a non 4ws ecu, then yes you lose it

no you do not gain atts.
your h23 has potential, IMO a turbo for an h23 has more potential than an h22 swap
you need to do some research.

Actually I was reading a post somewhere here that said that you wouldn't lose 4WS, but I'm not sure if the guy was right.

Actually, he should not lose 4WS. I am going to be doing the swap VERY soon so I will post back if I lose my 4WS or not. I hope I don't. I love it....when it works.

I was kinda curious if you would or not... I mean there is the whole 4WS ECU in the trunk... Maybe look into a JDM 5th Gen 4WS ECU (sorry I don't know what they used.) but then you would get the speed limiter...
You won't lose your 4WS. I have done a VTEC swap into my 94 SI/4WS and have no problems. The 4WS is almost completely standalone. That computer behind the back seat controls everything for it.

I can also help confirm that the 4WS will not be lost due to some of my experiences. I have used one of my friend's p13 which has a label on the ECU that reads different from mine. I also onced tried a friend's P28 ECU with I believe a Skunk2 program and neither time did I lose my 4WS. Like stated above, the 4WS has a mind of it's own.
